Can It Be Possible?

Attempting to get this paperback available on Amazon.com for a presale has been nothing short of a challenge. I want to apologize for my every premature assumption that each time I got it to accept the submission that I had it formatted correctly and there wouldn’t be any issues or delays. I think we now all can clearly see that my decision to be a writer and not a technician was well founded.

To update my progress… yet again I resubmitted it last night. Fingers crossed, but I am prepared for the worst. Initially I had errors on both the manuscript and the book cover formatting. Then it became an issue of number of pages to spine size coordination. Most recently it’s a discrepancy of less than .125 of an inch on the placement of the spine writing and its bleed line. So, with that being but my only remaining error, I feel confident that this was either completely corrected finally last night or will be eradicated after this next attempt.

Ok this online presale campaign that I am using through Amazon will continue until 12:00am February 14, 2020 when Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin releases. The campaign is a drive to jumpstart my sales on day 1 and move me up into the charts as fast as possible. What my particular marketing angle that I have chosen to employ is dropping the prices of the e-book and the paperback formats by $2.00 USD/copy. Currently the e-book is offered at $2.99 USD and the paperback is offered at $7.99 (well, will be offered as soon as I can get it accepted online). Amazon records the order and sets for the payment to be withdrawn from whatever payment option you choose on the day of its official release. So preordering the book today guarantees you one of the first purchased copies billed to you on February 14, 2020.

I have employed the talented Isabelle Kenyon to handle a good portion of this collections marketing strategy and planning. She has already begun setting up an Online Blog Tour that will take place before the release date. In the works are also an Online Review Tour and Interview Campaign. So anyone who could possibly have had any questions for me or about me will have several opportunities to ask me directly or indirectly in the coming months.

A physical book reading/signing tour is in the development stages. There is currently a street team being assembled for anyone who would like to lend their talents, ambitions and time towards helping spread the word of my poetry through a variety of free opportunities. There are special perks that come with that membership and reaching their objectives, but that is not in my control, I just help provide the requested incentives. More information and a membership drive for the street team will be made public in the very near future along with that will be necessary contact information and specific details. So, if even only curious, stay tuned for that soon-to-be-coming information.

We did several promotional contests and participation giveaways with A Footnote for Tomorrow. Again, this time around I intend to do even more than I did on the last book. I’m much more organized and slightly more experienced this time and hope that we have a great experience again this time around. A schedule of the promotional giveaways and contests will be posted monthly on the website along with the winners each month.

Amongst the promotional items to be expected in circulation this year and available for purchase at the online store found on my webpage and my Facebook Author Profile Page include signed copies of both books, t-shirts, stickers, bookmarks, magnets, pens and much more including a fresh inventory of all the previous materials from the Footnote campaigns.

Thank you all for taking the time to follow my blog, my social media pages, etc. Your support truly means the world to me and is the fire behind my drive to make all this possible.

Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin Presale Ebook & Paperback Available

It has taken this much additional time, but I have finally gotten the paperbook uploaded and approved to Amazon and the presale for it will begin within the next 72 hours. Both are at a discounted price until the release date of Friday, February 14, 2020. Be sure to take advantage of the great price before the books become available.

The release date has recently been pushed back to February 14, 2020 from the January 20th initial release date. We apologise for the push back, but in order to allow our marketing teams to be able to do their magic we needed to allow a few additional weeks.

We are currently seeking Beta Readers and book reviewers to read and review Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin. If interested, please reach out to us either via this page, facebook or gmail. We are offering ARC’s to those that will give and post reviews. Contact for more information.

Poetry in Stereo

I have spent evening or midnight hours locked in a room recording a very long, difficult to smoothly read newer poem entitled The Blurring of Lines. The poem will be the opening piece in an unpublished chapbook manuscript titled A Lesser Man.Not really sure what I plan to do with this recording, but lots of outtakes and bloopers that I may post for shits n giggles.I’m just waiting on some potential photos from a talented local photographer for possible inclusion in the manuscript. I have 2 pages remaining to become filled with words and it’ll be at my finished point.Afterwards it’ll ready to be shipped out for editing to both the talented Isabelle Kenyon of Fly on the Wall Press and newcomer, editor of the forthcoming ezine Belladonna Literary Arts Magazine, Brandy Kellams.Advance reader copies will be available in January at latest and release date has been rearranged and bushed back a couple of weeks to allow for proper time for a successful marketing campaign to be allowed to run its course. There is a blog tour in the works. As well as the constant search for every blog or literary journal book review I can acquire. If you review poetry and would be interested in reviewing Ghost on the Reflection- Letters to Erin, email me atm email addresses listed in my contact info to arrange for an ARC to be sent to you.#amwriting#writing community#poetry#poetrycommunity#belladonnaliteraryartsmag#flyonthewallpress#audiopoetry

Progress

As winter creeps ever nearer, the release date of Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin grows closer to its release date. The manuscript is about ready and I am eager to send it off to the editors. So much great material there to be shared. The presale promo has begun on Amazon.com, be sure to reserve yourself a copy.Progress has bren achieved on a 3rd smaller collection, I’m titling “A Lesser Man.” It will be a more abstract collection and concept but thus far has been some of my most impressive writing to date. I shall be looking to start submitting some of it to some literary journals very soon.

In the wild world of…

Sorry for my absense, seems everything has kept me away from this site and blog, my apologies. Tonight, I will be for a few hours releasing a glimpse at one of the poems from my new manuscript, Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin. It will only be online for 4 to 6 hours on the Facebook Poet Page, the fun is figuring out when those 4-6 hours begin and end, but it will be well worth the little game of cat and mouse, that I can promise.

There are talks of possibly being on tour in December, if anything becomes of this I will announce the dates and cities as soon as confirmed. Fingers crossed.

The release of Ghost in the Reflection was originally set to happen in November, I’m going to push back the date until after the first of the year. But I will be opening presales through Amazon next month, and will be trading copies for reviews (either digital or paperback) closer to the release date. I wanted to push back the date to allow some time for me to submit the poems individually to lit journals and publishing presses to hopefully grow the reach of the book a little further than A Footnote was able to reach.

Ghost in the Reflections-Letters to Erin Promo Flyer

I’m very excited for this new collection and cannot wait to get some eyes reading it. It’s nothing like anything I’ve done before and the material turned out really excellent. I feel like I may have found that voice I’ve been striving for as a writer since I was a child when I first began writing poetry.

There will be a lot of promotional swag for this collection going out in contests and to be found on the store located on the Facebook poet page.

I look forward to hearing what everyone thought about the teaser I’ll be posting later. Have a great hump day everybody!!

Sorry for the absence

Been having a few issues with my internet service and wanted to take a moment to touch base on all the things happening around here…

A Footnote for Tomorrow is now available for $0.99 an ebook and the paperback will drop.down to around $11 or 12 in the coming weeks on Amazon.

Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin is almost complete. It had been discussed as a November release which is very realistic, but I am contemplating pushing it back to the first week of January and adding more bonus content to the manuscript. I would like to everyone’s opinion on that thought please.

Belladonna Literary Arts Magazine is set to open a call for submissions of poetry, art and/or photography in the coming weeks. Keep an eye open for that. Follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more details and information.

Hopefully my connection issues will be resolved in the next couple of days or next week at most.

August already?

Where has this summer went? I feel like I have blinked and everytime it has changed to a new month. I didn’t realize how much I have neglicted posting on this site until just today. SO that said, let me begin by trying to get everyone caught up to the chaos that is my life.

A Footnote for Tomorrow is still readily available on both Amazon.com and TheBookPatch.com as well as from the store located on my poet facebook page. Amazon no longer has exclusive rights to the ebook, thus the price has dropped and is beginning to become available on more sites. It will be set up for distribution in the very near future. So great things still are on the horizon for it.

A few new facbook pages have finally began to surface, Planet Productions Poetry, my publishing company is the latest page. Belladonna Literary Arts Magazine has been on the site for a few, but I have failed to acknowledge it, shame on me. It is a literary arts journal that will debut this coming January. Although owned by the same publishing company, I do not run it. It is headed by the talented editor-in-chief Brandy Kellams, an excellant editor I’ve known since college. Its newsletter is due to be released soon. It’s first edition will be in January 2020, follow it and keep up with that information from there. I would love to read and see the poetry, art and photography of the talented poets, artists and photographers that follow me.

I have recently posted a few new poems from my soon to be released collection Ghost in the Reflection – Letters to Erin on channillo.com. I would love the feedback of any who subscribe and follow me there. This collection is slated to be released in November 2019. I’m very excited for it, unlike A Footnote, these are more recent and relevant works of mine that are definitely clawing at me to get out and be read.

Stay tuned, I promised some awesome promotional activities that I am finishing up the final touches on. Some great things to be awarded to all who participate.

New Poems Posted

In the works…

In about a week my exclusitivity agreement with Kindle expires. To celebrate I will do a promotion or two reducing the price. I will also be finally getting distribution set up and explore a few different avenues in addition to Amazon of course.

At the start of the year I will be unveiling a new literary ezine called Belladonna and have enlisted the assistance of a few old university journalism classmates from my days as an advertising manager at the school paper. We will release a more detailed statement in the coming month.

I have been writing the last several pieces for my next collection Ghost in the Reflection: Letters to Erin which we are hoping to release early in Novemeber.
