Sorry for my absense, seems everything has kept me away from this site and blog, my apologies. Tonight, I will be for a few hours releasing a glimpse at one of the poems from my new manuscript, Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin. It will only be online for 4 to 6 hours on the Facebook Poet Page, the fun is figuring out when those 4-6 hours begin and end, but it will be well worth the little game of cat and mouse, that I can promise.
There are talks of possibly being on tour in December, if anything becomes of this I will announce the dates and cities as soon as confirmed. Fingers crossed.
The release of Ghost in the Reflection was originally set to happen in November, I’m going to push back the date until after the first of the year. But I will be opening presales through Amazon next month, and will be trading copies for reviews (either digital or paperback) closer to the release date. I wanted to push back the date to allow some time for me to submit the poems individually to lit journals and publishing presses to hopefully grow the reach of the book a little further than A Footnote was able to reach.
Ghost in the Reflections-Letters to Erin Promo Flyer
I’m very excited for this new collection and cannot wait to get some eyes reading it. It’s nothing like anything I’ve done before and the material turned out really excellent. I feel like I may have found that voice I’ve been striving for as a writer since I was a child when I first began writing poetry.
There will be a lot of promotional swag for this collection going out in contests and to be found on the store located on the Facebook poet page.
I look forward to hearing what everyone thought about the teaser I’ll be posting later. Have a great hump day everybody!!
